Chillaxing at the poolside

Chillaxing at the poolside

Las Vegas loves a good poolside party and now there are so many pools that offer a new level of luxury and sophistication.

After a true beachside experience ordering cocktails, chilling out in a private cabana with TV screens and lounges? Mandalay Bay beach has you covered, bringing the ultimate beachside experience to the poolside. You’ll forget you’re in Las Vegas and think you’ve been transported to the Maldives.

For some more eye-candy by the pool you should head to the recently opened and ultra-sexy Sapphire Pool at the Rio Hotel, complete with day beds, cabanas and personal hosts.

And finally, since Las Vegas is a playground for adults, it’s no surprise that there’s a pool to match. "GO" pool at the Flamingo Hotel is an intimate adult- only pool offering European sunbathing, Xbox 360’s, mini-fridges, frozen fruit platters and wireless internet…who could resist ?!

Christian Audigier makes his mark at Treasure Island

Christian Audigier makes his mark at Treasure Island

A sassy new nightclub has just hit the Las Vegas Strip. Pure Management Group and famed fashion designer Christian Audigier have teamed up to create a fashionable nightlife experience called ‘Christian Audigier The Nightclub’ at Treasure Island.

The space embodies a cutting edge design concept that combines Gothic-infused luxe furniture pieces with harmonic Asian-inspired natural elements. Imagine alligator stamped black patent leather banquettes, glass mosaics, and baroque-inspired etched mirrors side-by-side with river rock bar fascias and an exaggerated jellyfish aquarium. The ying and yang of these two concepts are then artfully fused together by a collection of avant garde Asian tattoo artwork. To view this hot new nightclub click here.

Rock on!

Next stop…Aliante Station

Next stop…Aliante Station

Stations Casinos already has 10 resorts and spas scattered throughout Las Vegas. Following on from the tranquil Red Rock Casino and Green Valley Rock Resort, Aliante is the newest station to open.

Aliante Station is scheduled to open in November and is a move away from the Las Vegas mega resort with only 202 rooms. However with a price tag of US$675 million put into its construction you can imagine the level of luxury and mod cons it promises guests.

An Encore for Steve Wynn

An Encore for Steve Wynn

There is no doubt that Las Vegas casino developer extraordinaire Steve Wynn is on a ‘Wynning’ streak. After garnering international fame for the Wynn property, expansion has already started on his second tower. Encore, being built adjacent to the current Wynn Las Vegas property, is scheduled to open in December 2008.

You can imagine the pure decadence of Encore as it continues Wynn Las Vegas' casually elegant approach to ambiance. And with a price tag of US$2.2 billion, visitors can expect the same level of luxury and decadence that Wynn Las Vegas bought to the Strip when it opened three years ago.

If you’re looking for the best in luxurious amenities you can’t go past Encore.
